Dartware Announces Reseller Partnership with Boardwalk Communications
West Lebanon, NH; November 2, 2009 – Dartware, developers of InterMapper network monitoring software and InterMapper Flows for NetFlow and sFlow analysis, has announced a reseller partnership with Boardwalk Communications, a Cisco Value Added Reseller/Network Integrator based in British Columbia. The partnership makes InterMapper and InterMapper Flows components of Boardwalk’s network implementation and managed services businesses.
Boardwalk Communications delivers high-value networking and communications solutions to medium-sized companies. “Our customers are typically trying to solve two problems,” explains Andries Loubser, Principal at Boardwalk Communications. First, while they really need network monitoring software, the biggest portion of their IT budget is earmarked for end-user applications. InterMapper scales down in price to make it affordable for any size company. Second, they don’t have the time or staff to manage products that require extensive customization or ongoing management. InterMapper is useful as soon as it’s installed, can be customized as needed, and doesn’t require dedicated oversight. Its great for companies with limited IT resources.”
Boardwalk Communications conducted a three month evaluation of InterMapper and InterMapper Flows that included a visit to the University of British Columbia (UBC). UBC uses the network monitoring and mapping and NetFlow analysis solutions to ensure quality of service (link to UBC distance learning video clip) across a large, distributed Cisco network.
Loubser and Boardwalk technicians were impressed by InterMapper’s flexibility and extensibility. “InterMapper can be customized far beyond competitor products,” Loubser says. “That’s especially important for companies that guarantee converged network services.”
