Boardwalk Communications extends its reach to Lower Mainland

Victoria, BC, April 30, 2005 - As part of its continuing growth strategy, network integrator Boardwalk Communications is expanding its sales and integration services into Vancouver, announced President Philip Stone today. The expansion includes the hiring of Senior Account Manager, Peter Gosniak.

"The Lower Mainland is the largest market in our province; in order to continue the growth of our business it makes sense for us to be physically closer to that market." says Stone. "The Vancouver location, headed by our new Senior Account Manager, will enable us to do that."

Gosniak brings 10 years industry experience to the position and is considered by representatives at Cisco Systems, one of Boardwalk Communications’ primary manufacturer partners, to be one of the top sales people in BC's information technology sector.

"Peter is a great addition to the Boardwalk team," adds CTO, Andries Loubser, "he brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a strong understanding of our customers’ business requirements to his role. We think Peter will bring considerable value to our customers in this position."

The Vancouver expansion is one of many positive developments at the Victoria-based private company. Earlier this year, Boardwalk was recognized by Cisco Systems with their award for Commercial Success of the Year, Western Canada, at a global conference in Hawaii.
